Daniela R. Alves Valdez

President

Daniela is a legal consultant based in London who specialises in International Dispute Resolution, Insurance, Maritime Law, and Social Media with a particular interest in EU Law. She is also part of the London Young Lawyers’ Group ("LYLG") Executive Committee. On her spare time, Daniela volunteers as an Amnesty school speaker.

Julie-Ann McCaffrey

Vice President

Julie-Ann is the 2016 Chair of the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association. She is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution department of Cleaver Fulton Rankin in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Julie-Ann specialises in Construction Law and Public Procurement with an interest in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Elisabeth Batista

Immediate Past President

Elisabeth is a Catalan lawyer representing the Barcelona Young Bar Association (“GAJ Barcelona”). She practices in Barcelona in the area of International Business Law, being also the Director of the International Department of the law firm named AEQUO ADVOCATS (www.aequoadvocats.com).

Nonna Leontieva

Secretary

Nonna is a lawyer qualified in Russia, and serves as in-house counsel, the Head of the Corporate Compliance Department for St. Petersburg Airport (the first PPP project in Russia) handling Corporate Law and Compliance matters, as well as Contract Law. Her previous career includes five years of work for a law firm serving international corporate clients with extensive expertise in consulting and litigating on the Labour Law and Contract Law matters.

Hekim Hannan

Treasurer

Hekim is a Solicitor based in Liverpool, UK. He is a past chair of the Junior Lawyers Division of the Law Society of England and Wales; during his time as chair he was invited to talk at the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Spring Conference and also consulted with the Japanese Bar Federation during their global find finding mission on legal education and training. Hekim speaks regularly to students about entering the legal profession and has a particular interest in social mobility.

Nina A. Fuhr

Executive Officer

Nina Fuhr is a German attorney at the law firm of Schumacher & Partner in Düsseldorf. She works in the fields of commercial, corporate, contract, international business and insolvency law. Her previous work experience includes occupations at law firms in Barcelona, Spain and San Francisco, U.S.A. As a member of the German Young Lawyers Association (“Forum Junge Anwaltschaft”), she is its designated international representative.

Guillaume Tatoueix

Executive Officer

Fédération Nationale des Unions des Jeunes Avocats. Guillaume is a French “Avocat” practising in Toulon, French Riviera. He practises in the field of real estate/construction law, commercial law and Enforcement law. Guillaume teaches also in the University of Toulon and he learnt information science and new technologies while completing his degree.

Elin Dukes

Executive Officer

Elin is a Solicitor of England and Wales specialising in Private Client work; incorporating estate planning and administration, within the UK and internationally. She has a particular interest in Court of Protection litigation and working closely with clients at risk to protect their civil rights. She also sits on the committee for the international STEP Mental Capacity Special Interest Group.

Joyce Herrent

Partnerships Officer

Joyce is a Belgian lawyer based in Mons, near Brussels. She set up her law practice in 2011, where she specialises in the fields of civil litigation, property law, guardianship, and tutelage. She was active in the young bar association of Mons between 2007 and 2013, acting in different capacities including elected chair. Natascha Scheldt Pedersen

Membership Officer

Natascha Scheldt Pedersen is a Danish Junior Lawyer. She works at the Danish law firm LETT in their insolvency department and is specialized in both proceedings in bankruptcies and reconstructing companies.

Scott Lo

Sponsorship Officer

Scott Lo is a Solicitor based in Bristol, UK. He works at the Independent Law Firm Burges Salmon, specialising in Planning Law and is engaged with national energy and infrastructure projects. His experience has included training in local government and volunteering in discrimination & environmental law charities. Scott Lo participated in the Anglo-Dutch 2012 exchange programme.

Massimo Bucalossi

Projects Officer

Massimo is the Vice-President of the "New Technologies" Commission of the Conseil National des Barreaux, a member of the "Collaboration" Commission and a member of the "Professional Equality" Committee of the Paris Bar Association.
