Elisabeth Batista

During the Presidency of Elisabeth Batista in 2015, she promoted the EYBA by attending at several international events (Paris, Rome, Vienna, The Netherlands, Berlin) and giving presentations of the Association in order to acquire more members, as it was the Spanish Young Bar Association, the Madrid Young Bar Association and the Norwegian Lawyers Association. Besides, she had a big interest that the EYBA cooperates with other Associations with the aim to increase the benefits of their members. An example is the Partnership Agreement signed with the Tunisian Association of Young Lawyers (“ATJA”) and the pre-agreement reached with the AIJA. There were several Newsletters releases in which the EYBA members had the chance to participate and some improvements in the website were made, too. An intensive sponsorship campaign made possible to acquire funds for the Association and an additional conference was organized in Barcelona together with other Association of young professionals, The International Meeting-The Value of Young Professionals. These projects were possible thanks to the support of the Barcelona Young Bar Association and the EYBA Board.
